Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education starts the new academic year with a variety of courses that will enrich your life and improve your skills.
Starting September 19, Blueprint Reading Fundamentals is an introductory class that can be applied to multiple disciplines. Each of the 12 classes (held Tuesdays and Thursdays for 6 weeks) will be structured with 2 hours of instruction and 1 hour of guided practice to help you understand a variety of architectural drawing types.
Earn your Amateur (Ham Radio) License and bring people, electronics, and communication together. In 9 weekly classes, you will prepare to pass the Ham Radio Licensed Technician test and obtain your license. This class begins Thursday, September 21.
If September makes you wish for spring, John Fromer’s Planting Bulbs in the Fall (for Spring!) is a one-night class on Sept. 25 that will help you plan a season of wonder and beauty in your garden.
Finally, on Sept. 26 & 28, learn to navigate Google Drive. Teresa Johnson will show you how to unlock the power of the Google applications that can help you and your team of up to 100 users share and communicate with greater efficiency. Explore spreadsheets, slideshows, and more.
