STEM Fest 2024-Owls Head Transportation Museum

STEM Fest 2024 is a special 2-Day event where the Owls Head Transportation Museum turns
into a STEM Hub for the communities and families of Maine! On April 26 & 27, the museum will be the destination for young learners to meet with professionals in fields ranging from engineering to virtual reality technology, aircraft design and medicine.

DAY 1

Friday, April 26

DAY 2

Saturday, April 27

STEM FEST Day (FREE to the public)

The museum is open to the public and visitors can enjoy the festival free of cost. This is an opportunity for youth to try their hand at a variety of STEM-based programming, find inspiration and speak with professionals from a variety of fields.

The event runs 10am – 2pm, doors close at 4pm.

Participants include Maine Maritime Academy, University of Maine, Nomad Motors, and the Maine Discovery Museum! Don’t miss a Bath Iron Works virtual reality training trailer or build a stethoscope with the Girls Scout of Maine!
