Camden, Maine – The First Congregational Church of Camden is pleased to welcome the public back to the Heavenly Threads Thrift Shop located at 57 Elm Street, Camden, beginning Wednesday, July 31. The summer shopping schedule is set for Wednesdays and Thursdays only, from 11 am to 4 pm each day. Please help us spread the word.
Volunteers have been organizing the donations that have steadily poured in, creating a welcoming shopping experience for all. Donations are now being accepted in person on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays between 9 am and 4 pm, donations may be placed in the storage pod at the back entrance to the Heavenly Threads building.
Since 1984, Heavenly Threads Thrift Shop has offered quality home goods and clothing at reasonable prices. Based in the former church manse, the shop’s proceeds support the church’s essential works of Christian service in our community. Tremendous support from staff, volunteers, donors and shoppers has kept this vibrant outreach mission in business for 40 years. We hope to see you at Heavenly Threads this summer!
