Colonial Rock Stars – Daniel Adam Maltz on a historic pianoforte
Henry Knox lived in Montpelier from 1794 -1806, and Lucy until 1824. Many honored guests crossed their threshold, and they would have been entertained by an accomplished artist on a piano forte, the rock stars of the Colonial era. Daniel Adam Maltz is a fortepianist based in Vienna, Austria. Daniel specializes in Wiener Klassik – Viennese Classicism – especially the works of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. He made his Carnegie Hall (Weill) debut at age 22 and has 50+ tour dates per year as a sought-after soloist, chamber musician, Lieder accompanist, and clinician.
