Camden Garden Club meeting / presentation “Un-wilding the Urban Environment”

The Camden Garden Club general membership meetings are open to the public. This month David C Kibbe MD, a family physician and healthcare IT consultant who moved to Camden in 2019 to try his hand at ecological gardening and urban re-wilding in part as a response to climate change challenges, will present “Un-wilding the Urban Environment”. Join us to hear David share his re-wilding and humane landscaping journey over the last three years on his 0.75 acres, formerly a vacant lot. Photos and examples of native plantings, water management and turning lawns into meadows will be shared to show the intended good these efforts have for pollinators, animals and humans in this semi-urban habitat.
