Knox County Homeless Coalition (KCHC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Molly Feeney as Executive Director, effective immediately.

Molly, who has been serving as Interim Executive Director since the retirement of founding Director Stephanie Primm, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the mission of KCHC.

Molly Feeney has been an integral part of the KCHC team for the past six years, initially serving as the Chief Program Officer before stepping into the Interim Executive Director role. During her tenure, Molly has demonstrated remarkable leadership abilities, guiding the organization through a period of transition with grace and effectiveness. She will continue to play a pivotal role in KCHC’s positive organizational culture, ensuring that it remains steadfast in its mission to address homelessness and housing insecurity in Midcoast Maine.

Established ten years ago, Knox County Homeless Coalition has been at the forefront of providing innovative care solutions to individuals, families, and youth across Knox, Waldo, and Lincoln counties. As the organization celebrates its milestone anniversary, Molly Feeney’s leadership will be instrumental in navigating KCHC into the next decade, continuing to break cycles of poverty and homelessness through comprehensive support services and advocacy for systemic change.

Caroline Morong, Board Chair of KCHC, expressed the board’s full confidence in Molly’s leadership, stating, “Molly’s exceptional performance as Interim Director made her the clear choice to lead KCHC into the future as the permanent Executive Director. She remains committed to our mission and continues to show strong leadership skills earning trust from KCHC’s clients, supporters, staff, and board. We are excited about the positive impact she will continue to make in her role as Executive Director.”
