Registration is open for Midcoast Music Academy’s (MCMA) summer programming! Camps, classes, and workshops will be offered – appealing to a variety of interests, ages, and abilities.
Camp sessions are: Blues Intensive (July 8-12 with a North Atlantic Blues Festival performance July 14), Gig Camp (July 29-Aug 2 with a Maine Lobster Festival performance July 31), and Jazz Intensive (Aug 12-16 with a performance at Rockville Community Chapel Aug 16).
Classes and workshops are: Songwriting Intensive Workshop (June 28 & June 29), Vocal Groups – youth & adult classes (July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30), The Art of the Mashup for Guitar (July 11, 18, 24, Aug 1), Production for Songwriters (July 3, 10, 17, 24, Aug 7, 14, 21), and Audition Workshop (Aug 20).
Additionally, MCMA will offer Music Exploration classes for ages 5-8 (July 3, 10, 17, 24, Aug 7, 14, 21) and Music Together? classes for children 0-5 and their grown-ups in both Rockport and Belfast.
