Camden, Maine—The First Congregational Church of Camden is pleased to present “The Mission of Advocacy,” a workshop that will provide tips and tools for practicing faith-based prophetic public witness at the state level. This program will be held on Tuesday, September 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
“Speak your mind even if your voice is shaking.” Maggie Kuhn’s famous quote is a reminder that no matter how hard or scary it might be, each of us must find a way to speak out for peace and justice. It’s an integral part of answering God’s call to make our world a better place.
