Guided Meditation to Help You Transition into Fall at the Rockport Library

October 3, 2024
After a busy summer full of adventures, vacations, and house guests we can feel more exhausted than ever. On Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., the Rockport Public Library will host a free program called “Resting into Fall.” In this time of seasonal transition, local rest coach Hester Brooks will offer guided relaxation practices that gently slow the mind and ground the body. Participants are encouraged to dress in cozy clothing. The library will be providing warm, soothing beverages and snacks.
Hester Brooks is on a mission to create a well-rested world, one woman at a time. She is a certified Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator & Rest Coach based in Lincolnville, Maine. She offers 1:1 rest coaching as well as rest events and retreats so that you can break the cycle of fatigue and claim a rested life.
