Bridge to Employment in the Midcoast
Employers: Is your business being held back for lack of access to employees or lack of workforce training opportunities for existing ones? Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education can help!
Our program has been awarded a competitive Strengthening Maine’s Workforce grant as a member of the MidCoast Adult Education Hub. Funding is available to employers who need support systems to access employees and also to employees who show a training need and are defined as: people or communities of color, low-income, immigrants, people with low levels of literacy, women, the under- or unemployed. Eligible business sectors include healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, and retail. Other business sectors may be eligible if trainees themselves are eligible.
