The Friends of the Rockport Public Library (FRPL) will be hosting their last book sale of the year on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers can browse thousands of titles, appealing to all ages and interests. In addition to books, the sale also features, DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles, and more — with most items priced between $.50 and $5.
A new FRPL membership deal will be launched at the December book sale: memberships can be acquired via a $20 donation, with all proceeds going directly to the library. All members receive a FRPL 2025 tote bag, which may be filled with as many books as will fit inside at the first library book sale they attend. For $10, members can refill their bag at quarterly book sales throughout the year. The only books not included in bag sales are those on the “Specials” tables.
Memberships run from December to December. They can be renewed at each December book sale, or at the library desk throughout the year.
FRPL is looking for volunteers to help set up, break down, and work shifts at the December book sale. If you are interested, please call the library at 236-3642, or stop by the circulation desk to sign up in the volunteer folder. For additional questions, contact FRPL via email at
