Canvas + Pine Sailing Expeditions

Canvas + Pine Sailing Expeditions provides bespoke, custom curated Windjammer Cruises out of beautiful Camden Maine. Join us aboard the Pilot Cutter Hesper, a 60' traditional gaff rigged Pilot Cutter built in 2004 in the West Country of England by Luke Powell. Designed to cross oceans, Hesper is the perfect vessel for small scale, private expeditions and windjammer vacations. Our Windjammer Cruises run from June-October, boarding on Thursday's and returning on Sundays. Hesper is also available for select daysails, and full day Island Lobster Bakes.

While on board guests can enjoy great sailing, and participate as little or as much as they'd like. Our food is a big hit- we practice a farm to boat culinary experience. We want you to taste what Maine has to offer! After sailing, we try to find little nooks and island paradises. This is where the land adventure begins. Hiking, beachcombing, or just hanging in a hammock in a pine forest.

Trips begin at $1,500 for two guests and are completely private. You can bring up to 6 guests on board, and additional guests are charged per person. All meals are included.

Day sails are 2 hours, with full day lobster bakes being 8 hours. Guests can BYOB. We like to provide traditional Cornish Cream Tea for guests on board, and often you can smell the baked bread being made when you come aboard!
