Farnsworth Art Museum

Celebrating Maine's role in American art, the Farnsworth offers a nationally recognized collection from many of America's greatest artists. The museum houses the nation's second-largest collection of works by 20th-century sculptor Louise Nevelson. Its Wyeth Center features works of Andrew, N.C., and Jamie Wyeth. Open all year, daily 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; closed winter Mondays and Tuesdays. Available for special events.
