With our acquisition of Wayfarer Marine in 2015, Lyman-Morse Camden joins our flagship facility in Thomaston, Maine to offer premium yacht service, but with the bonus of lively location replete with dining options, lodging, retail, and a scenic boardwalk.   As a boatyard, we offer service, storage, refits, brokerage sales, or a new build project, and we have the knowledgeable staff from both yards on-site to help.  In 2022, Lyman-Morse’s 44,000-square-foot complex on Camden’s inner harbor was entirely rebuilt. This really is a one stop destination for cruisers looking to receive top-notch yacht services while also benefiting from some of the best marina amenities in the Northeast.

Like you, we love this location in the heart of Camden and are pleased to offer a full suite of services to make your stay more enjoyable. Our marina offers short- and long-term slip rentals, in addition to our dockage and mooring rentals.

Our beautiful modern working waterfront offers two new restaurants that sit just feet from the water.

Salt Wharf, a top-tier restaurant with a stunning rooftop bar offers diners a fabulous view of the inner harbor as well as Penobscot Bay and beyond.

Next door is Barren’s Distillery which features the finest local spirits along with great cuisine in both an outdoor courtyard and an indoor restaurant/tasting room with wraparound windows. These two eateries will be dining hotspots year-round! We hope you make the time to visit this amazing new spot!

The Whistling Whale Coffee Bar offers indoor seating in a casual and relaxed atmosphere boasting a bird’s eye view of the harbor. The immersion brewed coffee selections will pair well with a variety of fresh baked goods prepared on the premises each morning.

Included in the new project are the Lyman-Morse Crew Quarters -- three luxurious units for our customers and guests, an opportunity to spend a few nights ashore while getting some service work completed or even just an excuse to get off the boat for a bit! These Crew Quarters units offer some of the finest harborside accommodations in Camden — and you’ll only be a few steps away from the docks.

For transient and service customers, Lyman-Morse’s customer lounge and bathrooms shed a new light as to what to expect when visiting a marina. Brand new and always clean luxury showers and bathrooms will have you feeling at home, while the customer lounge which extends onto the 20’ wide boardwalk is the perfect place to relax. In addition, there are two day office spaces to help you catch up on work as well as multiple washers/dryers available.

Rounding out the mixed-use project are rental spaces for both office and storefront opportunities. Archive, a luxury consignment boutique, has opened on the boardwalk offering customers a bit of retail therapy when onshore. The office spaces provide the opportunity for residents to enjoy a waterfront working environment.  Additional space is still available – maybe it’s time to open that gallery or coffee shop you’ve always dreamt about!
