FRESHWATER TOURS

Our two freshwater options are excellent choices for families or enthusiasts looking to explore the inland waters of Mid-Coast Maine. The St. George River Tour begins in Union and follows the meandering St. George River from Seven Tree Pond to the take-out in Warren. With common sightings of both eagles and beavers, this is a wonderful trip to experience with your children or with a group of friends Our Megunticook Lake Tour contours the west side of the lake from Norton Pond to Bog’s Bridge and allows time for relaxing and swimming. The lake itself offers protected warm water and splendid views of the Camden Hills and Maiden Cliff.  Our freshwater itineraries are commonly enjoyed from lake kayaks, but canoes can be made available for interested parties.
