Thomaston Baptist Church

Thomaston Baptist Church, a member of ABC USA, was founded in 1861. We are a group of mid-coast people growing together in faith, studying the Bible, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus, and reaching out to others in love and compassion. Newcomers/visitors are welcome. We have Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, weekly Bible studies, Women's Group, Men's Breakfast, and choir, as well as special services and fellowship opportunities. We support a number of local, national, and international organizations, including CareNet, RDNA, Mid-Coast Christian Academy, Teen Shelter meals, Thomaston Food Pantry, ABCOM, and area Christian summer camps. Our Living Christmas Tree chorus, with members from several area churches, performs a "celebration of Christmas" cantata during the first full weekend of December (canceled for 2021 due to COVID).
