Midcoast businesses support Maine youth who need a second chance at high school graduation.

More than 20 midcoast businesses have come together to support Wayfinder Schools and their work with Maine teens who need a second chance at high school graduation. From Brunswick to downtown Camden and everywhere in between, these businesses have donated dinners, overnights, outdoor adventures and more to Wayfinder Schools’ annual Great Escape Auction, open for bidding online now through December 15. The auction features over a dozen Maine escapes, including Escape to the Harbor, Escape to the Woods, Escape to the Page, Escape to the Theater, Escape to the Pemaquid Peninsula, Mushroom Lovers’ Escape, Fly-Fishing Escape, Wine & Cheese Lovers’ Escape, Sauna & Plunge Escape, and more.

Generous midcoast donors include The Brunswick Hotel, Maine State Music Theater, Glidden Point Oyster Farms, Oxbow Brewing Company, Hidden Valley Nature Center, Damariscotta River Writers, Sherman’s Maine Coast Book Shops, Rising Tide Cooperative Market, Thompson Cottages, Ida’s Wine Bar at the Waldoboro Inn, Lakin’s Gorges Cheeses, The Craignair Inn, The Farnsworth Museum, Long Grain restaurant, Maine Sport Outfitters, Schooner Olad, The Waterfront, The Inn at Ocean’s Edge, Sea Dog Brewing Company, The Lord Camden Inn, Jodi Paloni, Diana Mullins, Andrea Vassallo, Andrea Itkin, Jim Butler, Carmen Bombeke, and Greg A. Marley.
